GPC praises military operation inside UAE’s depth

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The General People’s Congress (GPC) party praised on Tuesday the implementation of the military operation of Yemen Hurricane, which was carried out by the Yemeni armed forces on a number of vital sites inside the UAE’s depth.

The Party said in a news statement the operation comes in response to the escalation of the countries of the Saudi-Emirati coalition and their persistence in the aggression and the siege on the Yemeni people, as well as the closure of Sanaa airport to humanitarian and commercial flights, the destruction of infrastructure and the killing of children and women.

The statement affirmed Yemen has the legitimate right to self-defense, calling for the international community, the free people of the world and the Security Council to pressure to stop the aggression and lift the siege.

It called on the Yemeni people to strengthen cohesion and alignment behind the Yemeni armed, popular and security forces until achieving victory.
