Official in Sanaa reveals secret of burning coalition military vehicles

SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in the National Salvation Government in Sanaa, Hussein Al-Ezzi, on Sunday confirmed that Al-Qaeda and extremist groups fighting in Yemen possess US-made weapons.

“We preferred to burn these weapons instead of seizing them because they are weapons associated with terrorism and crime,” Al-Ezzi said, in a post on his account on Twitter.

Al-Ezzi attributed the reasons for burning military vehicles and keeping them in valleys, mountains, and roadsides to remind the Yemeni people that America is a rogue state that sponsors terrorism.

In a previous tweet, Al-Ezzi ridiculed the victories claimed by the Saudi-led coalition media, describing them as “Byzantine hallucination”.

During the past hours, social media activists circulated a picture of a military vehicle belonging to the coalition that turned into a garbage dump after it was burned by the Yemeni army and the popular committees.
