SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Jalil Rahimi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, said “Tehran and Riyadh will be preparing to reopen their embassies.”
“This step will have important repercussions in reducing regional tensions and increasing the cohesion of the Islamic world,” Rahimi affirmed on Twitter.
Last week, the Iranian Foreign Ministry revealed that its agenda would include a next round of negotiations with Saudi Arabia.
In a news statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said: “A next round of negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia will be held and hosted in Iraq.”
