SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The Supreme Judicial Council in Sanaa referred on Monday a number of judges to the Accountability Council.
The council affirmed, in its weekly meeting, that the decision came at the request of the head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, for violating their job duties in accordance with the law.
The meeting stressed the necessity of adhering to the honorable principles and judicial ethics, applying the rules of the Judicial Code of Conduct for preserving the integrity and independence of the judiciary.
The Council reviewed some of the grievances referred by the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, regarding the reconsideration of some judicial rulings issued against a number of grievances.
