Violent clashes erupt among STC militias in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 09 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Sunday among the UAE-funded “Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia, in the center of the city of Aden.

According to local eyewitnesses, the confrontations were due to the disputes between the STC militants from Dhalea and Yafa in an attempt to control a land in Kod Bayhan area in the Sheikh Othman area.

The various types of light and medium weapons were used in the confrontations.
The sources added that the confrontations caused serious damage to the homes of citizens and created panic among the residents of Sheikh Othman.

The leaders of the “STC” militia have continued to loot and confiscate the state lands and citizens in the city of Aden since the coalition took control of the city in the second half of 2015.
