Coalition launches 68 airstrikes on four Yemeni provinces

PROVINCES, Jan. 07 (YPA) –  The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes have on Friday launched about 68 airstrikes targeting several areas in four Yemeni provinces, security sources said.

According to the sources, the coalition warplanes launched 45 airstrikes on the districts of Bayhan, Usaylan and Ain of Shabwah province.

In Marib, the coalition attacked al-Balaq area in the Wadi district with  16 airstrikes, while the districts of Sirwah and al-Jubah were targeted with three airstrikes.

In Jawf, the coalition warplanes waged two airstrikes on al-Mazareeq area in Khub Washaef district and two others hit citizens’ farms in al-Jae area in Abbs district of Hajjah Province.
