“Yemen Mobile” launches 4G service in Sanaa

SANAA, Jan. 05 (YPA) – The Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology in Sanaa on Wednesday inaugurated the “4G” services at “Yemen Mobile” company, in the presence of a number of leaders of the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government members.

At the inauguration, Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, considered the transfer of Yemen Mobile to the fourth generation service as a victory for the Yemeni people, despite the suffering in light of the continued aggression and siege.

The Prime Minister, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, congratulated the leadership of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology and all its cadres for this honorable technical achievement, considering it a qualitative work that would contribute to overcoming the difficulty of Internet service to achieve maximum benefit from this technology in the development.
