HODEIDAH, June 13 (YPA) – Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation said on Wednesday that the port of Hodeidah is operation in a normal manner, according to a statement issued by the corporation.
In its statement, the corporation denied news circulated by some media about preventing the entry of ships to unload their cargo on the port’s quays.
The statement confirmed that the port is run by a specialized civilian management in compliance with the International Security System for Ports (ISPS), and all vessels coming to it are subject to United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism (UNVIM).
“It is a civilian port and a lifeline for Yemenis,” it added.
