Several rockets hit US military base in northern Syria

HASAKA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – A US military base in Syria’s northeastern province of Hasaka was came under attack with several rockets on Friday.

The General Organization of Radio and Television Syria (ORTAS) reported late Friday  that a number of rockets had been fired on a military airbase where US occupation forces are positioned in the country’s northeastern province of Hasaka.

The report added that the rockets landed at the edge of base in al-Shaddadi town, which lies on the southern outskirts of the provincial, without no immediate reports about casualties.

On December 13, the illegal US base in the Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, was hit by an unidentified rocket attack.

The missiles, which landed on the illegal US base in Al-Omar field, were preceded by an attack by gunmen on a military post belonging to the US occupation army in the town of Dhiban, near Al-Omar field.
