Iran says it will face any threat with “destructive response”

TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (YPA) – Deputy Commander of the Iranian Air Force, Brigadier General Mehdi Hadian, on Sunday said that “the Iranian air force is always ready to defend the country, and it will face any threat with a devastating response.”

In his statement to a crowd of leaders and senior managers, Hadian added, “The Iranian army’s air force has been facing a complete ban for 43 years by authoritarian regimes, but its fighters are carrying out the tasks of maintaining the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and defending the country’s airspace in the best way.”

He described the Iranian army’s air force as supportive of the Islamic Republic’s leadership and people, and “enjoys constant readiness to defend the country, and responds destructively to any threat.”
