Education Ministry condemns coalition’s airstrikes on vicinity of educational facilities
SANAA, Dec. 24 (YPA) – The Ministry of Education in Sanaa on Friday condemned the US-backed Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes on the vicinity of educational facilities in the capital Sanaa earlier in the day.
The ministry explained, in a statement, that the coalition aircraft bombed the intersection of Baghdad and Al-Zubayri streets, causing severe damage to the nearby buildings of the Teacher Support Fund, Projects Education Office, the Teaching Aids Production Center, and the Baghdad School.
“This criminal act, which comes within a series of crimes and systematic barbaric attacks, through which the coalition aircraft have targeted civilians and the pillars of the educational process since the beginning of the aggression,” the ministry said.
The statement condemned the international silence regarding the coalition’s crimes against the Yemeni people, which are contrary to international charters, norms, laws and monotheistic religions.
