Ministry of Human Rights condemns coalition airstrikes civilian areas in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned on Thursday the Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes that targeted civilians and civilian objects in the capital Sanaa.

In a statement, the ministry indicated that targeting Al-Sabaeen Bridge, which the Al-Sabaeen Maternity and Childhood Hospital is next to, by the coalition warplanes has caused terror among the patients and pushed them hysterically, in addition, the hospital’s nursery department was destroyed and neighboring homes, public and private properties were damaged.

The statement stressed that the continued targeting of civilians and civilian objects resulted from the complicity and negligence by the United Nations and the international community, giving the US-backed coalition states the green light to commit more crimes.

The ministry held America, its allies from the coalition countries and the United Nations full legal responsible for this crime.

The ministry’s statement called on the United Nations to quickly stop the aggression and lift the siege, which killed the lives of tens of thousands of children, women and the elderly.
