HARAMOUT, Dec. 22 (YPA) – A commander of the protection point in Hadramout province, east of Yemen was killed on Wednesday in an armed attack.
According to tribal sources, the commander of the point, called Al-Muradi, was killed and 7 others were captured in the tribal attack.
The sources affirmed that one of Al-Hamum tribesmen loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), was killed and two others were injured during armed clashes that broke out with the security guards of the oil companies at Al-Raqqa point.
7 guards of the security protection were arrested in the attack.
The sources added the clashes was an attempt to control over the oil fields in the province.
