Two rockets land near US embassy in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Two rockets hit near the US embassy in the Green Zone of Baghdad, causing material damage, Iraqi media reported on Sunday.

This morning, two rockets hit near the US Embassy in Baghdad. One of the rockets has been intercepted and destroyed by US C-RAM defense systems, according to the media sources.

The attack did not cause any casualties, but two vehicles were damaged.

Security forces have also launched an investigation to identify the location of the launch of rockets.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
