HADRAMOUT, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The “Hadrami Human Rights Commission” called on Sunday for a comprehensive civil disobedience in Mukalla city, the capital of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.
Local sources said that the call for civil disobedience received a wide response from citizens and shops owners due to the deterioration of the local currency against foreign currencies and the collapse of the economic situation in the southern provinces, controlled by the Saudi-led coalition.
The sources pointed out that the civil disobedience, which paralyzed the movement in the city of Mukalla, comes within the popular call for the Hadrami uprising against Islah Party militants in Hadramout valley.
