Meteorology warns of severe cold weather within coming 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected severe cold weather to continue in most provinces within the coming 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed the cold wave would focused on Saada, Amran, Dhamar, Bayda, Sanaa, Dhalea, Jawf and Marib.

It indicated that the wave might hit the highlands of the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.

The center called on citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions to prevent severe cold shocks.

It also urged farmers, herders, beekeepers to protect their crops and livestock from the effects of the severe cold.
