Yemenis hold mass funeral for Abdul-Malik al-Sanabani in the capital Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – A mass funeral was held in the capital Sanaa, for the Yemeni expatriate “Abdul-Malik al-Sanabani”, who was murdered by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia in Lahj, southern Yemen.

On Friday, the mourners gathered at the Sha’ab Mosque at al-Sabeen squares, while al-Sanabani’s coffin was carried on the shoulders of mourners from the mosque to al Dafae cemetery near the presidential house south of the capital .

Two weeks ago, al-Sanabani’s family announced the arrival of his body in the capital Sanaa .

In mid-November, the Prosecutor’s Office which is under the control of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) agreed to release the body of al-Sanabani, after its refusal  for more than two months.

Al-Sanabani was killed by the UAE-backed militias at a security checkpoint in Tur al-Baha district of Lahj province.
