UN official inspects extent of damages of citizens’ homes in Al-Durayhimi city

HODEIDAHA, Dec. 08 (YPA) – Brigadier General Yasser al-Maghrabi, senior officer in the National Team of the Redeployment Coordination Committee and Deputy Head for the United Nations Mission to support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA), Daniela Kroslak inspected the extent of damage to the citizens’ homes in the city of Al-Durayhimi .

Al- Magharabi pointed out that the visit comes to inform the United Nations and the world about the extent of the destruction in the homes of citizens, infrastructure  and some water, electricity, health projects, schools, houses and roads in  in the city as a result of the aggression and siege.

They listened to a brief explanation of the disastrous humanitarian conditions of people in the city, as a result of the destruction of their homes and their lack of the most basic elements of life.

For her part, Daniela Kroslak expressed regret over the destruction of citizens’ homes and the difficult conditions they are going through .

Kroslak stressed the concern to convey a real picture of the suffering of the residents of the city and the displaced in the directorate.

She called on humanitarian organizations to play their humanitarian role in urgently alleviate the suffering of the people of the city.
