Southern leader confirms his rejection of Riyadh Agreement

ADEN, Dec. 03 (YPA) – “Fadi Baoum” – Head of the Political Bureau of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Southern Movement vowed to enter Mukalla city after being prevented by the UAE-backed militias, confirming his rejection of the Riyadh Agreement.

He said in TV interview the absence of the movement’s founder, “Hassan Baoum” entered into a problem with the Saudi-led coalition and the Yemeni political forces because of his refusal to participate in the war that the country is facing now.

Baoum affirmed that the founder of the movement returned to the south to stand with the citizens who suffer from difficult conditions, as a result of the deterioration in services and economy.

The leader of the movement revealed contact happened with leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council before returning to Mahra last October, to negotiate participation in the dialogue, but the movement refused.
