Shabwa Governor reveals projects, conspiracies of occupation

SANAA, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Governor of the Yemeni oil-rich province, Awadh Al-Awlaqi, on Tuesday confirmed that the 30th of November Day is a pivotal event in the course of the Yemeni struggle.

The governor explained that the projects of colonialism and occupation were torn apart before the might, strength, and will of the Yemeni people, who wrote heroic epics, and regained their freedom and dignity.

Al-Awlaqi indicated that commemorating this anniversary confirms the loyalty of the Yemeni people to the fighters and martyrs who made huge sacrifices in defense of the homeland, its security, independence and freedom.

He called for unity and popular cohesion to confront the forces of invasion and occupation that seek to destroy the homeland and plunder its wealth.

“The projects of the new colonialist will not last, and his plans and conspiracies will be destroyed in the face of the hardness and determination of the Yemenis, and the defeat of the Saudi-Emirati occupier will be painful by hands of the steadfast and militant Yemeni people,” he stressed.

He affirmed that the arbitrary practices and human rights violations, the destruction of infrastructure, the looting of wealth by the occupying forces, and the difficult conditions experienced by the people of the southern provinces have become an indication of the approaching date of freedom and independence.
