Hamas praises Algeria’s position on Palestinian cause

GAZA, Nov. 30 (YPA) –  Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) praised Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s stance on the Palestinian cause.

Sami Abu Zuhri, head of the political department of the Palestinian movement Hamas abroad, said Monday: “Hamas expresses its pride in the Algerian position expressed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during his speech on the occasion of International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.”

“The president’s words reflect the authenticity of the Algerian position, as the question of Palestine is one of the most prominent constants of Algerian politics, and it is not for bidding or bargaining,” he said.

“Hamas believes that the true value of the president’s words appears to be a message of strengthening and reassuring our Palestinian people, and that  the winds of normalization will break on the rock of Algeria’s authentic position,” he said.

Earlier today, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune called on the United Nations to shoulder its responsibility to enable the Palestinian people to regain their land and establish an independent State with al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
