Shura Council condemns Australia’s decision against Hezbollah

SANAA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – Shura Council of Yemen condemned on Friday the Australian government’s decision to designation Lebanese Hezbollah as a “terrorist organization”.

The council said in a news statement that these measures taken by some governments against the resistance movements in the Arabic region revealed the falseness of their claims and slogans towards peace and security in the region.

The statement explained the western countries’ steps aims to target the Islamic resistance movements and free peoples who reject their destructive projects for the Arab and Islamic peoples.

The statement pointed out that it would have been better for the Australian government to take such a measure and this designation against the Zionist enemy entity, which practices various forms of terrorism against the Palestinian people, commits war crimes against civilians, and violates the borders and sovereignty of Lebanese territories.

It called on the Arab and Islamic peoples to reject these criminal steps against Hezbollah, and to take serious action to thwart all hostile steps targeting the Arab and Islamic nations and their just causes.
