Shura Council condemns designation of Hamas within “terrorist list”

SANAA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The Shura Council condemned on Monday Britain’s decision to designate the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” within the so-called “terror” list.

In a statement it issued today, the Shura Council considered this action a conspiratorial step targeting the resistance in Palestine, liquidating the Palestinian cause, and serving the usurping and occupying Zionist entity of Arab lands.

The statement confirmed Yemen’s full solidarity and standing by the Palestinian people and all Islamic resistance movements that defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds city, as the Palestinian cause was and still is the first and central issue for Arabs and Muslims.

The Shura Council called on the Arab and Islamic peoples to support the Palestinian cause move to reject the British measures against the resistance fighters in Palestine and to stand by the oppressed Palestinian people until the restoration of their state and its capital, Al-Quds city.
