Yemen army attacks Saudi-backed militias’ positions in Taiz

TAIZ, June 12 (YPA)- The Yemeni army on Tuesday launched an assault against the positions of Saudi-backed militias in Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The assault targeted the militias’ positions in Waziya’a district, the official said.

The official confirmed that dozens of Saudi-backed militias were killed and others were injured in the attack.

In the same context, the Yemeni army foiled an infiltration attempt of militias tried to move towards Jabal Habashi area in the same province, killing and injuring dozens of them.

The Yemeni army stepped up its assault against Saudi-led coalition forces and its militias in all fronts in retaliation for coalition’s war crimes and massacres against the innocent people of Yemen.
