SANAA, Nov. 17 (YPA) – Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, affirmed on Wednesday that the meetings with donors resulted in determining the expenses of operational projects going to international organizations outside Yemen.
In a news statement, Tawoos said that the Supreme Council rejected all projects whose operational expenses have been exorbitant and illogical, stressing that the Saudi-led coalition countries have controlled the United Nations funds allocated to Yemen.
He explained that the council demanded that aid be allocated to demining organizations, which lack the simplest techniques and machines.
Tawoos called on the international organizations to provide all services and assistance to citizens in the liberated province, especially Hodeida, which suffers from a difficult humanitarian situation.
