GPC condemns executing prisoners by coalition in West Coast

SANAA, Non. 16 (YPA) – The General People’s Congress (GPC) strongly condemned on Tuesday the heinous crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition forces in executing 10 war prisoners of the Yemeni army and the popular committees by firing squad in West Coast of Yemen.

The GPC said in a statement that the heinous crimes reflect the criminal tendencies being made by the aggression coalition and its tools in carrying out this act, which is forbidden and criminalized by all charters of the International and humanitarian laws.

The statement added this crime committed against the prisoners has proven the malicious goals of the US-backed Saudi aggression coalition and its crimes against the Yemeni people for six years.

It held the aggression coalition full responsible for this crime, calling on the international organizations, particularly the United Nations, to denounce the crimes and expose its perpetrators.
