SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned on Sunday the heinous crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition forces in execution of 10 war prisoners in the Western Coast of Yemen.
The ministry affirmed in a news statement that this brutal act is a war crime and terrorist activity, and contrary to the values, principles and the international humanitarian law.
The statement indicated that this cowardly act comes in the context of the continued violations by the countries of the aggression coalition and the rules of international rights and law, especially the Third Geneva Convention related to the protection of prisoners of war.
It held the United Nations and its envoys in Yemen full, legal and humanitarian responsibility for this crime, denouncing their failure to take any legal action nor a serious and effective stance to prevent these crimes.
It renewed its demands for the United Nations to break its silence towards these crimes committing by the coalition forces.
