UAE expels Socotra residents by imposing lethal dose in fuel prices

SOCOTRA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – UAE has worked to expel residents of Socotra by imposing lethal dose in fuel prices in the island.

According to local sources, the Emirati “ADNOC” station imposed a third dose in the selling prices of oil derivatives since the beginning of last September, from 13 to 24 thousand riyals in the price of a gallon of gasoline with a capacity of 20 liters.

The sources affirmed that the move came to double the suffering of the people of the island, which warns of famine in the island and exerts efforts of the UAE occupation to displace the people of the Yemeni island by indirect ways.

ADNOC’s station is the only Emirati station that has a monopoly on the sale of oil derivatives, after closing all stations belonging to the businessman and deputy director of the office of the Saudi-exiled Hadi government.
