SANAA, Nov. 09 (YPA)- Tunisia’s interior ministry on Tuesday commented on a report by a local radio station confirmed by witnesses that a protester had been killed in the town of Agareb after police fired gas canisters fired to disperse demonstrations.
Reuters quoted Tunisia’s Interior Ministry as denying radio and witness reports that a Tunisian protester was killed by police tear gas in the southern town of Agareb.
But the interior ministry said the person had nothing to do with the protests and died at his home, 6 kilometres from the protest, because of an emergency health condition.
