Iran: War in Yemen must be ended before any negotiations

TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Monday stressed that the war in Yemen should be ended before any real negotiations on regional issues could begin.

Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said that “holding a new round of talks with Saudi Arabia is linked to Riyadh showing more seriousness.”

On the Lebanese issue, Tehran considered that Saudi Arabia should realize that “the logic of the siege and pressure on Beirut will not achieve any results.”
