Hezbollah denounces assassination attempt on Iraqi PM

BEIRUT, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Hezbollah issued on Sunday a statement in which it firmly condemned the treacherous attack on the residence of the Iraqi prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.

The statement urged the Iraqi authorities to conduct an accurate and resolute investigation into the attack in order to unveil its circumstances, culprits and inauspicious purposes.

Hezbollah called on the Iraqis to exert all the sincere efforts in order to prevent sedition, maintain security and stability, and address political differences with wisdom and dialogue.

The statement also called for finding the peaceful solutions to frustrate all the schemes aimed at bringing down Iraq in favor of the enemies’ plots.
