13 Yemeni provinces witness cold weather

SANAA, Nov. 06 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Saturday alerted citizens in 13 Yemeni provinces, especially the elderly, children, farmers, herders of livestock and bees, from the cold weather.

The center expected a wave of cold in Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, parts Dhalea and Ibb provinces, and the mountains of Abyan, Lahj, and Taiz provinces.

In its weather bulletin on Saturday, the center also warned of relatively cold and dry weather on parts of the internal plateaus in Marib, Jawf, Shabwa, and Hadramout.

The center alerted fishermen and ships captains, especially small vessels, from the turbulence of the sea and the high waves on the western coasts and Bab al-Mandab.
