Iranian students stage protest condemning Saudi aggression on Yemen

TEHRAN, Nov. 01 (YPA) – Tehran University students staged a protest gathering in front of Lebanon’s Embassy in Tehran on Sunday condemning Saudi aggression on Yemen.

They chanted slogans such as, “Death to America”, “Death to traitorous Al Saud” and “Allahu Akbar”, and  called for bringing a halt to the Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people and the brutal massacre in Yemen.

The protesters also expressed support for remarks made by the Lebanese information minister who has called for an end to Saudi-led aggression and war against Yemen.

One of the protestors told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that Saudi Arabia has mounted an unequal war against Yemen, the war that has led to the killing of the oppressed Yemeni people and children in that country.

Some protestors have brought photos from Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah and carried flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Yemen, and Lebanon.
