PM confirms keenness to activate Investment Opportunities Fund

SANAA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Monday affirmed keenness to activate the Investment Opportunities Fund to proceed with the implementation of projects related to community development and create job opportunities by taking advantage of the available finance.

During his meeting with the Minister of Planning and Development Abdulaziz Al-Kumaim, Dr. bin Habtoor discussed the Fund’s activities and the problems it faces during the current period.

At the meeting, the Director of the Investment Opportunities Fund, Ashraf Al-Jilani, reviewed the fund’s activity during the previous period and its future plans, in addition to evaluating the implemented projects. He noted the frameworks of partnership with international organizations in accordance with the agreements signed with them.

Al-Jilani touched on the Fund’s participation in the community development through several projects in the fields of fish, agricultural development, and cash crops.
