Coalition prevents displaced people from leaving camps in Marib

MARIB, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces prevented displaced people in al-Rawdhah camp west of Marib from leaving for safe places, away from the ongoing battles.

Human rights sources in the city confirmed that the “special forces” of the Islah party prevented the departure of displaced persons from al-Rawdhah camp for the second day in a row, or moved them to safe places away from the course of military confrontations  as  Sana’a forces approaching the city.

According to the sources, Islah militants continue to use Internally displaced people (IDPs) in Al-Rawdha camp and others camps around the city as human shields, after the camps were converted into military barracks and weapons depots for the coalition forces.

Human rights sources called on the United Nations to ensure the departure of  the citizens and the IDPs who are oppressed due to the Islah authorities in Marib, do not involve them and make them fuel in military conflicts,

They also warned of the coalition and Islah preparation for committing a mass massacre against displaced people in Marib.
