Libya: dozens of Egyptians referred to attorney general

TRIPOLI, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Libyan authorities referred 44 illegal Egyptian immigrants to the attorney general.  They were detained in a Tripoli shelter by the Anti-Immigration Investigation and Information Collection Unit.

According to the sources, these Egyptian immigrants were gathered in a place to emigrate to Europe and they entered Libya illegally.

The sources said that the detained Egyptians would be referred to the Immigration Prosecutor’s Office of the Libyan Attorney General.
