Al-Houthi stresses importance to adhere to matrix of executive procedures for traffic plan

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, stressed the importance of the commitment of the concerned authorities to implement the matrix of executive procedures for the traffic plan.

This came during his speech at the opening of the activities of the first traffic conference, which was held on Wednesday in the capital, Sanaa, under the slogan “Traffic safety is a shared responsibility.

Al-Houthi pointed out that putting an end to the problems and traffic jams in the capital and other provinces’ capitals, as well as reducing traffic accidents that requires joint efforts and work from the ministry of interior and relevant authorities.

He urged the media outlets to play a role in traffic awareness as a duty within their responsibilities towards society.

Al-Houthi said the ministry of interior should work on creating a traffic awareness curriculum in coordination with the Ministry of Education to include it in educational subjects.
