Project to preserve historical monuments of old Sanaa city discussed

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – A meeting held Thursday at the Capital Sanaa Municipality discussed priorities of the project to preserve the historical and archaeological monuments of the old city of Sanaa and the technical and aesthetic improvements.

The meeting, which included Chairman of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Eng. Mujahid Tamish, and Director of the Executive Unit for Maintenance in the Municipality, Eng. Abdulmalik Al-Ansi, reviewed the executive plan submitted by the Authority, including studies and designs, as well as the specifications of the project.

In the meeting, It was approved the follow-up to the preparation of the necessary documents from the Tender Committee in the capital, such as the contract, schedules of project quantities and the requirements for its implementation.
