Parliament Speaker receives message from Syrian counterpart

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, received on Thursday a message from the Speaker of People’s Assembly of the Syrian Arab Republic, Hammouda Sabbagh.

In the latter, Sabbagh expressed his appreciation for the speaker of Yemeni parliament and its members on their steady positions towards national and Arab issues, especially what Syria is being exposed to from the Zionist-American and regional conspiracies.

The latter added, “These positions are not new to the brothers in Yemen, who represent the authenticity of belonging to this nation and the expression of its hopes and aspirations.”

Sabbagh stressed the importance of strengthening and cooperating between the two councils in order to achieve the bilateral interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
