Abu Dhabi receives credentials of first Israeli ambassador to UAE

ABU DHABI, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Abu Dhabi announced that it received Tuesday the credentials of the Israeli entity’s ambassador, Amir Hayek, two months after announcing his appointment as Tel Aviv’s ambassador to the UAE.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) said that Khaled Abdullah Belhoul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a copy of the credentials of Amir Hayek, the new-appointed Israeli occupation ambassador to the UAE.

On July 25, the Israeli entity foreign minister, Yair Lapid, announced the appointment of Hayek as ambassador to Abu Dhabi, for his experience in the field of economy and tourism.

Abu Dhabi was the fastest to appoint an ambassador to the Israeli enemy, as its ambassador, Muhammad Al-Khaja, arrived in Tel Aviv on March 1.
