AFRIN, Oct. 11 (YPA) – At least six people, including civilians, were killed on Monday in a car bomb explosion in the city of Afrin in northern Syria, which is under control of Turkish occupation forces, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The blast occurred near Kawa Square in downtown Afrin, destroying surrounding buildings.
No further details were provided.
The city of Afrin and other areas under the control of the Turkish forces and the Syrian factions loyal to them in northern Syria witness from time to time car and bicycle bomb explosions, and rarely any party claims responsibility for them.
