Terrifying explosion causes injuries, material losses in Shabwa

SHABWA, Oct. 09 (YPA) – A number of citizens were injured on Saturday due to a terrifying explosion occurred in the middle of Ezzan city in Shabwa province, east of Yemen, local sources said.

The sources pointed out that high pressure generator explosion caused injuries and material losses in civilians property.

The sources declared that the explosion of the generator set fire to the dilapidated electric wires, and a citizen was electrocuted.

The sources attributed the reasons for the explosion of the electric generator to being worn out and not maintained for decades.
