Explosion puts power stations out of service in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 06 (YPA) – A strong explosion caused most of the power stations to be out of service during early hours of Wednesday in Aden province.

In a statement issued by Aden electricity said that the explosion of header circuit cable 33k.v carrier line among al-Mansoura and Khur Maksar electricity, led the main carrier of all power stations to be out of service.

The statement declared that the technical teams rushed to isolate the fault first from the public network, and returning the leased Al-Saadi station with a capacity of 10 megawatts to cover instead of the Mansoura station.
