Rain of varying intensity expected within coming hours

SANAA, Oct. 02 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected rain of varying intensity on some of Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.

The center affirmed that the rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, would prevail over Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Bayda, Lahij, Taiz, Ibb and Dhalea.

It said in its weather forecast that the weather of the Socotra archipelago would be partly cloudy, with the possibility of scattered rain, and active winds reach a maximum speed of 25 knots.

The center called on citizens to stay away of valleys and waterways to preserve their safety, in the areas where rain expected.

It warned of reduced horizontal visibility as a result of rainfall and the formation of fog on mountainous roads.
