Sanaa forces achieve new field victories on Marib front

MARIB, Oct. 01 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces and popular committees (Sanaa forces) on Friday achieved new victories against Saudi-led coalition forces in Al-Jouba district, south of Marib province.

Field sources reported that the army forces and the popular committees managed to control ‘Umm Al-Rish’ camp and large parts of ‘Al-Khashina’ camp in Al-Juba district, south of Marib, after fierce battles with the coalition forces.

Sanaa forces continue their battles with the forces of Hadi government and militants of Islah Party and Al-Qaeda backed by the coalition warplanes, advancing towards ‘Al-Jadida’ area, the center of Al-Juba district, south of the strategic city of Marib, the last stronghold of Hadi and the coalition forces in northeastern Yemen.

In its quest to limit the forces of Sanaa, the coalition launched 62 raids during the past 48 hours, most of them focused on the Al-Juba district, while several other raids targeted Al-Abdiya district for the eighth consecutive day in order to break the siege on Hadi forces and Al-Qaeda.
