Southern Yemeni areas revolt against deteriorating economic conditions

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Several southern provinces, which are under the Saudi-Emirati occupation forces have witnessed angry demonstrations, due to the deteriorating economic and security conditions and the conflict between the factions loyal to the coalition of aggression.

In Aden, dozens demonstrators took to the streets, in most districts, which the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC ) militias met with live bullets.

The scene was not different also in the city of Taiz, whose main streets are daily roamed by protesters, chanting slogans calling for the exit of the foreign forces and mercenaries, in addition to tearing up pictures and banners of the Saudi-exiled Hadi government.

On the same context, the situation is getting worse in the governorates of Hadramout, Mahra, Socotra and Shabwa, whose sons have accused the aggression coalition of working to deteriorate the economic situation, in addition to its quest to loot Yemen’s wealth and disrupt its strategic ports.

Observers believe that what is happening in the occupied areas in southern Yemen is a real popular uprising, which will not stop until the forces of aggression leave.

They affirmed that the popular uprising in the south need for national leaders to mobilize efforts and energies to decisively confront the occupiers, and preserve institutions, especially the coming days would reveal the reality of the aggression coalition and its colonial plans in Yemen.
