About 15 demonstrators kidnapped in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah militants kidnapped about 15 protesters, including students at the university of Taiz, the center of city.

According to sources, Islah gunmen took the kidnappers to the “Political Security” prison of the party.

Thousands of protesters went out in the areas, which are under the control of the Islah Party loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, at the beginning of this week, denouncing the deteriorating economic situation and the local currency, and the lack of basic services in the city.

The protesters also called on the coalition to leave Yemen.
