Anti-coalition protests continue in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Angry protests and total strike continued on Wednesday in Taiz city, southwest Yemen, for the third day in a row, due to the deterioration of economic and living conditions in the city.

Local sources affirmed that Islah militias continued suppression and arresting the protests against the local authorities and coalition forces.

A number of neighborhood heads were arrested and transferred to Military Intelligence headquarter by Islah militias, after they failed to quell the hungry demonstrators, the sources added.
