Amnesty calls for releasing religious preachers detained in Saudi prisons

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Amnesty International called on the Saudi authorities to release the Saudi religious preachers.

The organization affirmed on Twitter that Salman al-Awda, a reformist cleric, who has been detained since 2017 on charges of “terrorism and conspiracy against the state.

It added: “Sheikh Salman is at risk of execution, and his health condition is bad,” while the court has continued to postpone the sentencing session.
