Salvation Gov’t forces control strategic sites in Al-Abdiya front in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government forces (Sanaa forces) on Wednesday imposed their control over large parts of Al-Abdiya district in Mairb province, local sources said.

Sanaa forces cut off the supply lines of the Saudi-led coalition forces and imposed a siege on them from all directions, the sources added.

This came after the liberation of the two districts of Ain in Shabwa province and Harib in Marib from the coalition forces and Al-Qaeda groups.

The sources pointed out that the Sanaa forces took control of strategic sites in “Ma’la” mountains overlooking Al-Juba district, amid rapid collapses among the ranks of the coalition militants.

The coalition warplanes launched more than nine airstrikes on several areas of Al-Abdiya district, in an unsuccessful attempt to break the siege on coalition forces and Al-Qaeda members.
